a certain furry friend.

after it was pointed out to me that i very rarely update, i decided that i should update more often. i have been kind've busy lately, as it was the end of the quarter, meaning all the teachers decide to make up for the "lack" of homework that they gave us the rest of the quarter. whatever.
so i had to do a bunch of work, tests, reports, etc.
thank God that's over.
and on friday we had a youth alnighter at titiyen. that was pretty fun. i did my share of entertaining my fellow youth group members by talking and walking in my sleep. i also, apparently, did the same for my dear mother when i came home to take a nap. minus the walking part.
anyways...on the the fun stuff.

Lexi

It has come to my attention that I have done a poor job introducing important members of my life to the rest of the world. So I have decided to start with my dog, Lexi. (Full name being Alexis.)
I happened upon Lexi about a year and a half ago (December 2005) when a friend of mine was forced to leave the country. One day she came to school and showed me a picture of her dog. "You want my dog?" she asked.
"No, not really." Two days later, Lexi came to live with me.
Lexi is almost two years old. She's a pretty small dog: part miniature pincher and part fox terrior. She's black, and she has a red collar. (Black and red=the coolest color combination ever in the world.) She has these huge ears that stick straight up, and amazon legs that are all too long for her own good.
She's quite a character. She hates baths, unless they're in hot water, in which case she refuses to leave the water. Due to her long legs, she trips/falls/runs into things all the time. Her moments of ditziness keep me laughing. She hates geckos, and if she sees one, which happens quite often, barks at them. All night long.
She also has this thing for moths. She'll catch them in her mouth, one at a time, and start a pile of them on one of my rugs. After eating dinner one night, I came back into my room to find a pile of about ten moths in the center of one of my rugs.
She has a really great personality. I don't hesitate to personificate my dog, becuse she really has more human traits than that of a canine. Minus the fact that she happens to be one.
Despite the fact that I have many more things and many more stories to share with you about my wonderful room mate, I have to leave for lunch soon.
I will however, share some pictures.
Enjoy.
